Another misconception regarding Samurai's ability is that it can only be used with Blackberry. We've tried long and hard to change this image, but maybe some clarification is in order.
Indeed, RIM already provides a level of encryption, but, we have yet to find someone who likes it. The complaints are that it is too complex and that it just doesn't provide the level of encryption needed.
For the Blackberry environment, the Samurai system is much easier to use and provides a much higher level of security; at the point of transmission to the point of reading.
While we have put the the technology onto Blackberries and Outlook, the technology extends much further. The technology applies to any digital information from and to any computer.
